Ways to work with me

You'll always know your price before I start.

Start with a free 20-minute call.

We talk about your trip and see if we're a good fit. No obligation, and if I'm not the right person for it, I'll tell you and point you to someone who is.

Full trip planning

I plan the whole trip and book it for you: a day-by-day plan with places to stay, how to get around and what to do, built around how you want to feel, plus one round of changes.

  • Up to 7 days$333
  • 8 to 14 days$555
  • 15 to 21 days$999

Prices cover up to 5 travelers in one household. Flights and cruises are included with no separate booking fee, and if you'd rather book flights yourself, I'll plan around them. Planning something longer or more complex, like several countries or a big celebration? I'll give you a custom quote before we start.

Irish heritage

+$222

I work with a professional genealogist to find your family's parishes and townlands, then build those places into your route. Genealogist fees are paid to them directly.

Extra household

+$222 each

For each separate family or couple traveling with you, to cover the extra rooms, wishes and coordination.

Smaller pieces of help

Trip Review Call

$222

Planning it yourself, or keeping the budget tight? Send me your plan and I'll read it closely before we talk. Then we spend an hour on a video call fixing the tricky parts: routes, timing, where to stay and what to book early. Afterwards you get clear written notes and book everything yourself. If you book full planning within 30 days, the $222 comes off your planning fee.

Hotel booking

Free

The easiest way to try working with me once. Know where you're going? I'll suggest a few hotels that fit and book your stay, with partner extras like daily breakfast at many hotels. Want help planning the rest? That's full trip planning.

Cruise booking

$55 per cabin

I'll help you choose the cruise and cabin, book it, and remind you before each payment is due. Want flights, hotels, transfers or shore excursions planned around it too? That becomes full trip planning, priced by the length of your whole trip, with no separate cruise fee.

Flights only

$55 per traveler, per round trip

Flights that fit your plans, fare rules explained, names checked, and help if your schedule changes. Fares include a small booking commission, plus any ticketing fee from my flight partner. You'll see your full price before you book.

The fine print, in plain words

Fees cover my time and research, not your travel costs, and they're non-refundable once I start. If you change dates or destinations after I've started, there may be an extra fee. I'll always check with you before charging anything.

Help while you travel

You're not on your own. I reply to messages within 24 hours on weekdays. I work remotely and I'm often in Europe, close to where you'll be traveling.

If something urgent comes up, these contacts can help you right away, because they can fix things fastest:

Hotel or tour problem

Call them directly. Their numbers are in your itinerary.

Flight delayed or canceled

If I booked your flights, call my flight partner's 24/7 help line, which is in your itinerary, and they'll rebook you. If you booked them yourself, use your airline's app or desk.

Medical or other emergency

Call your travel insurance's 24-hour help line. I recommend insurance for every trip.

Then message me, and I'll help sort out the rest during my working hours.

FAQ

I've never used a travel advisor. Is this for me?

Yes. You don't need to know how it works. I'll walk you through each step.

Is it more expensive than booking it myself?

Usually not. Hotels and travel companies pay my commission, so for hotels you often pay the same rates as booking direct. My planning fee covers my time and expertise: research, personal recommendations, coordinating the details, and support before and during your trip. You'll always know the fee before you commit.

Is this only for luxury trips?

No. I look for places with character, comfort and a real sense of place, whether that's a family-run guesthouse or a country house hotel. If you're planning on a tighter budget, the Trip Review Call is a good place to start. Either way, we'll agree on a budget during our first call.

I've already started planning. Can you just check my plan?

Yes, that's the Trip Review Call. You keep control, and I help you avoid the common mistakes, like trying to fit in too much.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong on my trip?

The hotel, airline or your insurer first, because they can fix things fastest. Then me. See “Help while you travel” above.
